Technically, you can only get approved for an ELLOC once your landlord has accepted to take our ELLOC as an alternative to their security deposit requirement, and added the rental property into our system.

Once the property is successfully added into our portal, a property ID is created. The landlord then can share the property ID to you via email, and once invitation is received, you can complete the ELLOC application process.

However, if you are planning to apply for an unsecured ELLOC and don't have a rental property selected yet, you can always complete the application without a property ID, and see what ELLOC options you qualify for. And don't worry, checking your ELLOC options won't affect your credit score.
